Those are actually very good. I like the close up of the face in particular. :)

I know that pain all too well. My father didn't understand my desire to draw and criticised me, saying that I "spent too much time on dopey drawings". My brother and I both used to draw animal characters until one day our father waited until we were at school and then took all our drawings and burned them. My brother never drew animals again. I did continue but I had to hide all my drawings, and I never had the same enthusiasm again.

A couple of months ago one of the artists I commissioned created an amazing drawing of one of my characters. I asked how long they had been drawing and they replied "since I was old enough to pick up a crayon."

Now I'm trying to catch up on lost time.

He wasn't a nice person and now that my parents are divorced he's not considered part of the family.

The moral of the story is: Don't let people discourage you from persuing your dreams. I really wish I'd spent more time drawing.
